Sarah is a PhD candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Manitoba. She has served as a board member for Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba (ADAM) since 2017. Sarah has also worked as a co-facilitator of CBT anxiety groups at ADAM and delivers psychoeducational presentations on anxiety for the community. Her research interests include the impact of anxiety on close relationships, and treatment-seeking processes during the experience of perinatal anxiety.
She has a special interest in third wave CBT approaches for the treatment of anxiety such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness.
