Marketing and Communications Manager
Prior to joining Anxiety Canada, Yolaine spent the first half of her career in award-winning advertising agencies in Canada and the United States. After a decade working from the agency side, she joined the marketing team at Destination Canada, became a patient navigator in the rare disease industry, and led Radio-Canada’s Alberta, British Columbia and North marketing and communications team. Yolaine has honed her skills in advancing national consumer products, tourism and media brands.
She joined Anxiety Canada in 2020 to focus on a cause that is close to her heart. Her expertise in niche and integrated marketing, product development, partnerships, brand management and growth, media relations and her 360-degree ‘patient experience’ are assets she brings to her role as Marketing and Communications Manager. Yolaine was born in Quebec City and is fluent in French and English.
In her spare time, Yolaine volunteers for PVNH Support & Awareness, an international patient organization she created in 2009 after losing her daughter Ella to the rare disease X-Linked Periventricular Nodular Heterotopia. She also volunteers as a sports and events photographer.
