Maxine has spent over 15 years leading marketing strategy and implementation with a strong focus on digital marketing. As a creative entrepreneur, Maxine has brought her visually inspiring work to both corporate and retail sectors. She once owned a floral design studio in Yaletown and was the creator of Vancouver’s award-winning original ‘Grinch Tree’.
In 2020, Maxine decided to pivot her career and expand her skills into the non-profit sector. She has led successful philanthropic initiatives, cultivating relationships with donors for Vancouver charitable organizations. Simultaneously, she has been working towards her certificate in Fundraising Management at BCIT.
Maxine has lifelong lived experience with anxiety, and is passionate about creating a safe place to speak openly about mental health and building awareness for mental health initiatives. She loves the outdoors, both for spending time with her family and for her personal wellness; she finds time in nature provides respite for her active mind.
